Who we are
SpeaX Media, the producer of the Sarasota SpeaX podcast, based in Sarasota, Florida. Questions about this policy: hello@speaxmedia.com.
What we collect
Forms you fill out. If you apply to be a guest, request the media kit, or subscribe to the newsletter, we keep what you type, typically your name, email, phone, business, and the story you tell us. We use it only for that purpose: to evaluate and schedule guests, to send the kit, or to send the newsletter.
Site analytics. We use a privacy-respecting analytics tool to count visits, pages viewed, and where visitors come from. It does not build profiles of individuals or follow you across other sites.
Embedded video. Episodes are embedded from YouTube in privacy-enhanced mode, which means YouTube does not set tracking cookies until you press play. Once you play a video, YouTube's own privacy policy applies.
We do not run advertising trackers, we do not sell or rent your information, and we do not share it with sponsors.
Where it lives
Form submissions are stored by our website host (Netlify) and in our email. Newsletter addresses are stored with the email service we send from. Both are reputable US providers with their own security practices.
Your choices
Every newsletter email has an unsubscribe link. To have any information deleted, a guest application, your email address, anything, write to hello@speaxmedia.com and we'll confirm within 10 business days.
Guests on the show
If you appear on an episode, the recording, your name, and what you say on air are published permanently on YouTube and podcast platforms. That's covered by the release you sign before recording, not by this policy.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll note it here with the date.
